Stone’s Summer Weekend of Music! Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2026
Stone Town Council has a weekend full of music planned this month! On Saturday 15th August the Summer Street Party will take over the High Street and the music will continue on Sunday 16th August with the annual brass band concert at Stonefield Park.
Both events are free-to-attend and open to everyone!
Summer Street Party – Saturday 15th August 26
On Saturday 15th August the party kicks off at 12.30pm with the K-Pop Demon Hunters tribute on stage from 12.45pm followed by brilliant contemporary cover band, The Cartoon Kings, at 2.10pm. Our headline act for the day is Imagine ….. The Beatles, a Beatles tribute band, who are guaranteed to keep you singing and dancing from around 3.50pm.
We recommend that you head over to the High Street around midday to grab a good spot and we encourage you to bring chairs and picnics and make a day of it!
Kath Stanway will be your compere for the day and will also be keeping you entertained between sets.
As well as the entertainment on stage we will also have Warwick’s funfair in the market square and lower High Street.
Food and refreshments will be available from the cafes, pubs and restaurants in the High Street and vendors selling hot food, ice cream and cakes.
The event is expected to finish at around 5.00pm.
Brass Band Concert – Sunday 16th August 26
On Sunday 16th August (2.00pm – 4.00pm) the Town Council will again host a brass band concert and cream tea afternoon at Stonefield Park at which there will be a short service to commemorate the Burma Star and those who lived through, served and sacrificed their lives in the Far East during the Second World War.
Councillor Jill Hood, Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee said “I am very pleased that the Council is again able to put on these very popular, free-to-attend events.
