Classic Car Event

Stone Town Council will again play host to a collection of approximately 60 classic cars on Saturday 11th July 2026. This free event will take over the High Street and Market Square between 11:00am and 3:00pm. A road closure will be in place for the High Street from 7:00am – 5:00pm on the day so no vehicles other than the classic cars which are part of the event will be able to access the High Street during those times.

Stone Town Council has been working with the Stone Carnival Committee to organise a collection of classic cars in Stone High Street. Most of the cars are local to Stone and represent some of the finest classic cars in the area. This year’s event will showcase cars from the 1950’s and 1960’s in the Market Square.

Councillor Jill Hood, Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee said “The Town Council is pleased to be able to bring a Classic Car event to Stone High Street once again. With such a wide range of vehicles there is sure to be something for everyone! It has been a pleasure to work alongside the Stone Carnival Committee and we are very grateful to their support in co-ordinating this event which is free to attend and is always a family favourite.”
