9. Grants to Local Organisations
To consider the following requests for grants from local organisations which meet the criteria within the Council’s grants policy:
a. Organisation: Stone Town Football Club
Amount Requested: £500
Reason: To purchase a replacement pitch mower, following on from a Club House vandalism
10. Data (Use and Access) Act 2025
The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 requires the Council to have a process for handling data protection complaints. The Council’s current Complaints Procedure already meets the requirements of the Act except in one small respect – it does not set a timescale by which complaints must be acknowledged. The attached updated Complaints Procedure corrects this by inserting a 30-day acknowledgement period, in line with the requirements of the Act. The only other changes to the document are to show the date as September 2026.
The Committee is asked to consider this revised policy (attached).
11. Call for Evidence: Shaping the Future of Local Government in Staffordshire
To consider the document received from Staffordshire Parish Councils Association.
12. Town Council Payments
To receive a list of payments made by the Council during the period 1 to 31 May 2026 (attached).
