Stone Artisan Market

Stone Town Council is working with Castle Artisan Events to bring a new artisan market to Stone High Street on Saturday 17th October 2026 (10am – 3pm).

The event will see the High Street welcome a carefully curated line-up of local makers, creators, artists and independent stallholders for a day of shopping small, supporting local and celebrating Staffordshire’s creative community.

The market will bring together a vibrant mix of artisan stalls, handmade gifts, original artwork, jewellery, homewares, sweet treats, street food and unique finds.

Castle Artisan Events aims to create welcoming, high-quality events that encourage people to spend time in town centres, visit nearby shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, and reconnect with their local high streets.

The October event will be held as a trial, with both Castle Artisan Events and Stone Town Council keen to see how the market is received by residents, visitors, stallholders and town centre businesses.

Councillor Jill Hood, Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee said “We welcome the opportunity to work with Castle Artisan Events to bring this new, artisan market to Stone. We hope Stone residents and visitors to the town will support this event which, if successful, could lead to a long-term partnership for future events.”
