Welcome to Stone Town Council
Stone Town Council was set up in 1974 following the reorganisation of Local Government. It is the Parish Council representing the urban area of Stone.
The local council comprises eighteen elected Councillors, five representing St Michael’s Ward, five representing Stonefield and Christchurch Ward, three representing Walton North Ward and five representing Walton South Ward.
Council meetings are open to the public and are usually held in the Council Chamber at 15 Station Road, Stone, ST15 8JP.

Stone Town Council offices are currently open to the public from 9:00am to 1:00pm on Monday to Friday.
Office staff are however contactable by telephone on Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Heritage Centre
Stone Heritage Centre is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Notice
The Heritage Centre will be closed on Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th September 2025 due to the change over of exhibitions. The Centre will reopen on Thursday 11th September 2025.
